My name is Tony, and I’ve always prided myself on being able to provide for myself and my family. Recently, though, life has thrown me some tough challenges. My car died unexpectedly, and after scraping together what I could to buy a used truck, it broke down after only two weeks. To make matters worse, I was injured and unable to work for two weeks, which has left me financially broken and struggling to keep up with bills and daily expenses.
I’m reaching out for help so I can purchase another vehicle—nothing fancy, just something reliable to get me back to work full-time and continue taking on side jobs. Having dependable transportation is essential for me to overcome, and right now, I’m at a loss for how to move forward without it.
Asking for help like this is not easy for me. I have always done for myself and my children. I take extreme pride in that. I served 10 years in the military and am a war veteran with many commendations. I’ve been through Hurricane Katrina, lost everything, and rebuilt. I resigned from the Post Office to rehabilitate my daughter after a tragic auto accident, and after 5 yrs of therapy we succeeded and i rebuilt. During all this while raising my three children on my own is my proudest accomplishment. I am a proud person, and it is overwhelming to ask for help, but I am on my last thread. For those who know me, I will pay you back, or if you need work or services, I will be there with a smile. Thank you in advance for any support you can offer—it truly means the world to me.
