Help Tony get a Power Assisted Wheelchair♿️

Donation protected
This entire yearI have been trying to get the incision line on my left leg where my leg was amputated to heal so I can use a prosthetic leg. For nine months this year, I have been unable to use a prosthetic leg for only 1-2 hours a day. Even on the best of days I can only wear a prosthetic for a total of 6 hours a day. Thus I spend the majority of my day in a wheelchair.

As a result of having to be in a wheelchair so much I have torn both my rotator cuffs. Last Monday December 5, 2022 I had surgery on my left shoulder where the doctor fixed a fully torn rotator cuff, torn labrum, ground part of my shoulder and collar bone and cleaned up other things to fix my AC joint. I'm looking at 3 months of rehab on my left should to get it strong enough to have the other shoulder operated on to repair them damage done by using my wheelchair so much.

I need an ultralight wheelchair with power assist so I don't do further damage to my shoulders. 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Myositis which is an autoimmune disease that attacks your muscles leaving them inflamed and fatigued, I need a contoured padded back to my wheelchair and a contoured seat back to not inflame the Myositis and the psoriatic arthritis that's in my cervical and thoracic spine.

My insurance will pay 80% of the cost of the wheelchair minus some parts that insurance doesn't cover or might refuse to pay. The wheelchair with power assist will cost somewhere around $12k. Anything over $10k after I pay the 20% the insurance will fully pay for minus the parts insurance wont cover.

So I am asking for $2500 so I can get a new wheelchair with power assist and quick release wheels so it is easier for me to take my wheelchair with me in my car. If I dont get a new ultralight wheelchair with power assist I will further injure my shoulders and spine.

I know that for those of you outside the United Stes dont fully understand the US healthcare system and why I need to raise $2500 to get a new wheelchair. I can't work or get anymore income because thanthen I would have to pay a higher percentage of copay for my healthcare.

Any amount you can donate will be appreciated.
