This is our friend Tony... one of the nicest people that we have had the pleasure to call our friend.He and his wife are on a very limited income due to so many medical problems. Tony was just starting to improve from severe medical issues and is currently on renal dialysis. On Tuesday, September 28/21, Tony was going to the drug store in his electric wheelchair that had just been repaired within the last 3 months (with the assistance of friends). His wife, who also has numerous medical issues, needed some meds. At Tecumseh and Huron Line, in front of a couple of businesses, he was hit by a car due to a car turning... flung to the road, where he rolled back to the sidewalk to avoid being hit again…. Tony was injured again and his wheelchair is badly damaged. To everybody’s surprise, they have been told by a top law firm that insurance will not cover his wheelchair... He cannot sue for it...they have been severely set back, Tony’s legs are injured and he is in much pain..But the wheelchair is his only mode of transportation. Tony worked very hard all of his life and took care of many….We just hope to help him with this. Thankyou...
