I'm Veronica(Janelle's sister) setting this gofund me to, Help Tony Fight Pancreatic Cancer

My brother-in-law, Tony, was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after severe jaundice led to the discovery. This diagnosis has turned his and my sister’s world upside down.

Tony is the sole provider for their family. My sister is by his side every step of the way—attending appointments, helping him through procedures, and caring for him—so she is also unable to work at this time.

The financial strain is growing quickly:

• This diagnosis was completely unexpected.

• Medical bills are stacking up fast.

• He has already undergone one procedure to place a stent that was unsuccessful. He has now had a second stent replaced that seems to be working better, he’s had his laparoscopy to stage the cancer, which as far as the surgeons could see at this point has not metastasized, it is still localized. His gallbladder was removed during those procedures and now he’s awaiting more information from his oncologist to find out whether chemo or surgery is the next move (lots of hands in the pot to meet and create his care).

—Tony deserves to focus all of his strength on fighting this cancer without the crushing weight of financial stress.
