Tony Dowdy was the rock of his family, the go-to, the strength. Few places you can go that he's not recognized the moment you walk in. He will forever leave his mark on the racing community and the automotive industry.

He was the dad of all dads. He was the man and a forever legend. He was Tony mf Dowdy. He was the get in, shut up, and hold on guy. He was always down for a hold my beer moment. He loved to drive fast and take chances. He was that guy.

In the early morning hours on 1/22/25, Tony passed from a heart attack, breaking all of our hearts.

He has always been the guy to step up, help out, go the extra mile. Not only for our family, but for the community, and every customer that walked through his shop doors in the last 39+ years.

Now our family has to ask you to help us do the same for him, to properly lay him to rest per his and Cathy's wishes.

There is no life insurance, no contingency fund, no savings.

Our goal is to help cover the costs of his Celebration of Life and help Cathy get through the loss of her husband of 42 years and the sole provider.

A visitation will be held on Monday 1/27/25 from 5-8pm.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday 1/28/25 3-5pm with an hour of visitation prior to.
