Help Tony and Eldena Through Tough Times

To begin with, my name is Eldena R. Cox, and my family is in pretty difficult financial times currently. The reasons are due to my husband Tony who is experiencing progressive neuromuscular mobility issues. He had COVID several years ago and in the last year or more he has shown signs of balance problems, headache, muscle loss in both legs and tremors in his hands along with muscular stiffness. He has had 2 8 week physical therapy appointments. His therapy supervisor had been watching his movements and progress and he could see that he was not benefitting from the sessions. So, he therefore decided to write to my husband's primary care physician stating emphatically that Tony was not being helped at all and that it was causing more destruction of his mobility and tiring him terribly so his recommendation to Tony's doctor was to demand an MRI and brain scan and to expedite his referral to a neurologist ASAP. So, the same day I took that letter to his doctor and in doing so he got an appointment in 2 days with his primary doctor and a referral to a neurologist FINALLY after several months of waiting. So, with another MRI scan coming up on Friday March 13, 2026 that appointment is nearly 70 miles from our hometown. With gasoline fuel prices so much more expensive now our so called budget is suffering terribly. Tony is anxious and scared naturally about all the testing and me waiting and worrying so much. He's always saying it's causing so much expense being ill. I tell him it's fine let's just get you better and walking. They will be ruling out Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis possibly. He knows this. I worked for years in the nursing field and I recognized the early symptoms. Been very hard for me as well. He has a walker chair now since Christmas. He's 6'1" 220 pounds and has been very active always..biking, hiking, judo black belt since childhood, surfing. Just active. He was in the United States Army also. At 67 years of age he feels like he's still wanting to do things, of course but he cannot now. No driving hurts him. He was a security guard many years. But, forced to retire due to mobility now. He misses it terribly. God bless his heart. Our huskies love him and gather near him. He misses going on walks with them. Like to see him smile more but, it's hard for him. So, I am creating this personal family GoFundMe for Tony and myself to help us ease so much medical expenses we're incurring now. I'm home now too to help. Fuel for our car, groceries, water bill, propane, insurance car tires, etc. just overwhelmed at times now. We don't complain about any of it because So many have their issues too. No one is immune. I was hoping to have funds to get us caught up in our bills , car payment, our Auto Pay is now having to be payment arrangements. Somewhat embarrassing to us both. I'm saying my prayers for hopefully receiving a bit of help if possible that would be so encouraging to Tony. We've always helped other folks and donated many years and now here we are needing that help. It would help him concentrate on his health not our lack of wealth. I thank you for taking the time to read my story of Tony and my family. God bless everyone. Thank you . Anthony G Gleicher and family's needs
