Help Tony and Carol Marotta Rebuild After Devastating Fire

On April 16th at 2 AM, a neighbor’s out of control fire engulfed and consumed the townhome of my brother Tony and sister-in-law Carol. As retired teachers, they have lived in this home for 18 years and by all accounts have lost everything. Insurance will cover some of their expenses, but fall short of the financial costs associated with the full value replacement of their Saratoga home. Immediate living expenses, mortgage payments and monthly HOA fees will continue. The emotional loss of cherished and irreplaceable family mementos coupled with the destruction of various art and personal life collectables brings home the essence of this tragedy.

As dedicated teachers, they both worked to improve the lives of students with disabilities. They serve on various community-based boards and have been active supporters of the arts.

We, as their family and friends, are setting up this fund to assist these incredible loving people with rebuilding their lives by taking some of the financial burden off their shoulders.
