We are reaching out to you with a heavy heart for my brother Tony Rebhan. Hurricane Melissa has devastated the town of Black River, Jamaica. And, in its wake, he has lost everything... the home he built for our family, his beloved pizza shop and car were destroyed by the storm.
His pizza shop was not just a business, it was a dream and his livelihood. The thought of starting over from scratch is overwhelming but, he is determined to rebuild.
There are many friends here in Black River facing similar consequences and Tony is determined to help where he can.
Although he has insurance, the reality is that it may take months to know what will actually be covered — and in the meantime, he'll need help with urgent recovery costs. He's trying to make the home livable again, replace essentials, and start rebuilding his pizza business.
I’m raising funds not only to start rebuilding Tony's home but also to help others in the community who are still waiting for relief.
We are humbly asking for your support to help us take the first real steps toward recovery — not only for Tony, but for neighbors and friends here in Black River who are facing the same struggle. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help to begin rebuilding their lives.
I have attached the few photos he's been able to send me and will add more as I get them.
THANK YOU!
Concerned Family and Friends of Tony
