Help Tony and Ada get a new place to stay.

hello! Our names are Tony and Ada. We’ve been living in Idaho Falls for a little over 3 years now and fell in love with everything here. Here we adopted our beloved kitty, Michi, from the snake river shelter and had been living the dream. Sadly, this past Tuesday May the 23rd we lost everything in the flood due to the severe rains. Our apartment in H street was a basement level one and water just rushed down so fast and so violent it busted open our front door. We were lucky enough to grab our kitty and some of our possessions and get out alive, and we’re so grateful to be okay and only having material losses.

sadly, our apartment was deemed a lost cause and we can’t stay there anymore. We’re now in dire need of a new place to stay and for that we’d mostly need to cover costs for deposit and first months rent. We’re not worried about the material stuff since we can always start anew, and abusing of your generosity we humbly ask for any donation. We understand we’re not the only ones who lost things with the flooding, so if you’re unable to donate now just please share this. We appreciate everything this city has done for us and we hope to repay every good thing that has given to us. Today we need help. Thank you for reading.

Hola, nosotros somos Tony y Ada. Hemos vivido en Idaho Falls por un poco más de 3 años. Tenemos un gatito llamado Michi que es nuestra adoración y nuestra vida aquí ha sido buena y muy feliz. Tristemente perdimos nuestro departamento con las inundaciones causadas por la tormenta del martes 23 de mayo del 2023. El agua llegó hasta nuestras rodillas y perdimos casi todas nuestras posesiones materiales, pero estamos con bien.

es por eso que recurrimos con mucha pena a ustedes, las cosas materiales de verdad no nos importan y nuestra mayor preocupación es recaudar el dinero para poder conseguir un nuevo lugar para vivir. Tenemos trabajo, pero haber perdido nuestro techo nos pone en una situación muy precaria.
