Help Tonks get his surgery

Hi, my name is Sam and I’m making this fundraiser in the hopes of getting the surgery Tonks desperately needs ASAP.

Tonks is a very beloved cat to so many, especially me. He is essentially my therapy cat, as well as my best friend. I would do and give everything I could for him, but unfortunately all I have is currently not enough.

Tonks has gingivitis which has drastically and very suddenly gotten so severe that all his teeth need to be removed ASAP. He is currently miserable, in lots of pain, has bleeding and swollen gums, rotting teeth, and is not his usual happy, crazy, chatty, loving self.

He also has an undiagnosed health issue which we are just waiting to get the bloods back for. I will update as soon as I know, but we don’t have many ideas what it could be. He’s gone from being a perfect weight to losing over 1kg within a month, with no significant changes in eating etc which could’ve caused this. He is so tiny, fragile, and boney, it’s heartbreaking.

Tonks is your usual crazy ginger cat who loves nothing more than frolicking and bathing outside and befriending every cat he meets. He’s incredibly loving and a complete mumma’s boy, he’ll run and meet me when he hears the sound of me parking outside and then walk with me to the front door. He always wants to cuddle and be on a lap, and when sleeping at night he likes to sleep under the duvet next to me with his head on the pillow. We have been attached at the hip ever since he was found in a box as a kitten covered in fleas and way too tiny to be away from his mum. We were meant to be in each others lives.

Me and Tonks have been through a lot together, which includes an especially difficult past year which has left us living with friends as we don’t have our own home. My own struggles shouldn’t mean that my beautiful Tonks should have to suffer, it’s not fair, but unfortunately vets costs are insanely pricey.

I absolutely hate having to resort to asking for help, especially in such a public way, but there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for Tonks and he needs medical attention ASAP. I don’t know how well this will go, but I can’t put into words how appreciated any help at all would be, so we can get Tonks back to his usual happy and pain-free self.
