I've been fighting colon cancer for the last 6½ years, and during that time, I haven't been able to drive to the hospital for treatment because it was too difficult with all the chemo in my system. My insurance and registration on my car lapsed 6 years ago, making it even harder to get to my appointments and take care of daily needs.

Now, my best boy Tonka, who is 13 and will be 14 at the end of September, needs to see a veterinarian/chiropractor. The treatments he needs—adjustments and massages for his hips—are really expensive, and I want to make sure he’s as comfortable and happy as possible in his golden years. Tonka has been by my side through everything, and I want to do the same for him.

The funds raised will help Tonka get the care he needs and also help me register my car, so I can get to my doctor appointments and enjoy a bit more freedom during my two weeks off chemo each month.
