Tonia’s gofundme
This Covid pandemic has hit so many. But during times of great need, we as humans have come together to lend a helping hand.
Who is she?
Tonia Page is a loving mother and Grandmother. She is also a most dear friend and an incredible person. She opens her ❤️ heart to anyone and everyone and gives her time and patience to anyone who asks and yet NEVER ASKS for anything in return.
Unfortunately, during these crazy and awful pandemic times. She’s gone through terrible hardships. You see, she suffers from very bad and crippling depression and anxiety. You’d never know it when you talk to her because she will always put on her happy face as not to burden those around her.
The pandemic blow:
Since the pandemic started, she’s had a tough time mentally with the lockdown. For those with depression it’s especially difficult as they are cutoff from the support they rely on. The last 6 months have been especially difficult. She has lost her job which means all her income, she was being evicted from her home, and she had suffered a severe bout of depression. Still she was managing without asking for help.
As things were getting better, she had a job interview and found a new residence but hadn’t moved in yet and was starting to feel better mentally, she was hit another crippling blow. She had caught Covid and had to be hospitalized because her O2 stats had dropped dangerously low.
Where is the light?
Slowly she made progress and was able to return home only to be physically assaulted by her previous landlord. Not only did this monster physically assault her but he had thrown away many of her possessions while she was in hospital including her furniture and her beloved treadmill which was instrumental for her to manage her depression during the pandemic.
As always she is trying to keep a smile on her face but it’s time that we as humans give her a helping hand. Please donate what you can, it doesn’t have to be much. She is always willing to help but now it’s her who needs the help. Please open your hearts, every bit helps.
Please donate & where the money goes:
The money you donate will help to keep a roof over head, food in her cupboards, making her new residence a home, hopefully with enough get her another treadmill to help her manage her depression in a healthy way.
Spread the word:
We appreciate any and all donations! And hope that you will spread the word and pass along the link by sharing it your Facebook and whatever other social media platform you may use. Thank you so much!
