The unfortunate has happened and my mother, Toni Roberts, fell at her home in San Miguel, Mexico last week. She spent the night on the floor and was then diagnosed with a broken left hip. Surgery for a full hip replacement happened on July 29th.

She is now at her home in Mexico recovering with the help of 24/7 nurse caregivers. The surgery, hospital stay, medicines and the on-going 24-hour rehabilitation care are all out of pocket costs for her and for our family as Medicare does not pay for care outside of the US.
