Help Toni Bronson to breathe & move on her own.

Mom went in for a heart cath procedure on 4/21 and ended up getting hospitalized with a hemothorax which is an accumulation of blood inside the chest cavity and went into hemorrhagic shock.  Her heart stopped at least twice and was resuscitated.  They performed open heart surgery and she was critically ill overnight.  She recieved 12 units  of blood and was not expected to make it overnight but God has other plans for her.   The drs and nurses were and are STILL amazed that she is recovering.  She is still on  the ventilator with a trach tube and because her kidneys took an injury to all that has happened she is requiring dialysis.  She is recovering  slowly but still needs more extensive therapy.  The next step is a rehabilitation center that will work with her in getting her off the ventilator and breathing on her own.  She has been in the hospital for almost a month at this point and needs some good physical therapy.  The problem we are having is that Medicare apparently "runs out".  They only cover so many days and then they expect a supplemental insurance to pick up the daily co-pays.  We need to purchase this insurance so that the rehabilitation center will eccept her so that she can be sent there for recovery.  If not she will be sent to a rest home and will remain on the vent and her quality of life will be very short. Since the long term care is so expensive we are asking for a little help.  If you are able to help us reach our goal it will be greatly appreciated.
