This fundraiser is for Thomas Taylor (Tom) who was riding his motorcycle/scooter coming back from the beach area on 1/22/2023 Sunday afternoon. On the way home he was involved in an accident involving a car and he was flung from his scooter to the asphalt.

Tom suffered severe head trauma, a head laceration that needed draining for several days, concussion, road rash from head to toe, a broken clavicle, broken hand/thumb, and back fractures in 4 different places (T5, T8, T11, T12). The fantastic first responders and medical staff @ Delray Trauma center were able to stitch and graft his head laceration successfully (which the EMT stated gave him a clear view of the skull @ the scene). They also did a great job cleaning out his road rash, and getting him started on the road to recovery - a road that will certainly be hard and painful.

Tom is a father and neighborhood barber @ Coral Springs Styling. He needs our help though. From missing work, needing rehab to walk and work again, wound care while he is recovering, the cost of ER and surgery, medical bills, and legal aid - lots of things are piling up and he needs to focus on healing.
