It’s hard to believe that we’re here again, but life has been unrelenting these past few months.
Four months after unexpectedly losing our beloved Timber at only 36, Tom (Timber’s dad) visited his doctor to treat his shortness of breath and was sent to the emergency room later that same day with declining organ function. He was transferred to the ICU shortly after and placed on dialysis and intense antibiotics to attempt to help his kidneys and liver while also staving off an infection.
While in the ICU, Tom developed an untreatable brain bleed and we made the difficult decision to terminate care and peacefully say goodbye. Tom was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle and cherished friend to so many. His acceptance of all and desire to learn made us all better people.
The grief we are feeling is insurmountable. Losing these pillars of our lives in such a short period of time has changed us forever. We are raising funds to support Rosemary, Emsie and Frank during this difficult time. Money raised will go towards hefty medical bills, funeral costs, meals, and flights to the east coast to lay Tom to rest. It is difficult to ask for this help after the outpouring of generosity we received upon Timber’s passing, but we are leaning into the community that surrounds us and has shown us such love.
Please consider reaching out to Emsie or Frank to contribute through Venmo or Zelle in lieu of GoFundMe.
