Help Tom’s brother a Ukraine refugee move

Hi, this is Tom and Danae Herndon. As some of you may know Tom’s brother Mike and his wife Sarah are international teachers for QSI. Their most recent teaching position was in Kiev Ukraine. They were thankfully able to exit Kiev just days before Russia invaded. It was a fast exit and each person was only able to take a carry on leaving most of their belongings and their pets behind. They finished the school year teaching student remotely from Georgia(the country not the state). Some dialed in as refugees from all over the world, some were not fortunate to flee and their lessons were broadcast into bomb shelters with sirens going off in the background. Needless to say they lost everything. Their school year finished up this week and they are trying to make their way back to the United States for a six week stint before moving to the next assignment in Kazakhstan. It has been a hard season as they have 4 kids of their own that have witness unspeakable tragedy. We want to see if we can come around their family to help support them in what will hopefully be a time of renewal and rebuilding as they come back to the states and try to inject some normal into their lives.
