Hello, my name is Tommy, and I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help. I am 47 years old and have been renting the same home in Lincoln Park, MI for nearly nine years. I built my life here and always paid my rent, expecting I would have time to plan for the future. Unfortunately, my landlord recently sold the property, and I was unexpectedly informed that I must move out by the end of July.

The hardest part of this situation is that I am not alone. I have a 6-year-old dog named Princess who means everything to me. She isn't just a pet—she is my family, my best friend, and my constant companion. Through life's ups and downs, she has always been there for me, and I can't imagine a life without her.

With such little notice, I am now trying to save enough money for moving expenses, security deposits, pet fees, and the cost of finding a new place that will accept a dog. At the same time, I am still facing rent obligations and threats of eviction while trying to prepare for this move. The financial pressure has become overwhelming.

I am a proud person, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. But right now, I am in a situation where I genuinely need support. My goal is simple: to keep a roof over my head, keep Princess safe, and secure a new home where we can continue our lives together.
