I am reaching out to you with hopeful spirits for a good friend Tommy , his wife Holleigh and their daughter Emmahlynn. Tommy was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a rare and complex heart condition. This condition has presented him with numerous challenges throughout his life, and now, at a critical juncture, Tommy is facing another one. His cardio regurgitation rate has gone up to 64% (up 7% in just the last 6 months) which if you’re unfamiliar with this can ultimately cause heart failure.

Tommy needs to undergo full open heart surgery for a pulmonary valve replacement. During this surgery, there is also the potential for further repairs once the surgeons have a clear view inside. The road to recovery will be long and demanding, with the first six weeks being absolutely crucial.

As Tommy prepares for this surgery, he is confronted with the reality that he will be unable to work for up to six months, if not more. This extended period without income adds a significant financial burden to an already stressful situation. Tommy has always been a hard worker, helpful wherever he can be, and a provider, but now, their family could use the help.

I am setting up this GoFundMe campaign to support Tommy through his recovery journey. The funds raised will go directly towards covering medical expenses, post-operative care, cardio rehabilitation multiple times a week, and day-to-day living costs during his time away from work.
