My friends know me as Tommy

I've been a painter/ handyman for 44 years.

Last January, I was painting a ceiling on a 3 ft stepladder and fell . The ladder collapsed and my leg was caught in the middle resulting in my left fibula and tibia break at my ankle .( I've worked between 12 and 60ft up many times with no accidents)

Since I had no insurance or workman's comp, I had to use my credit for life expenses.

I went through $24k creditand donations for the last year to survive.

I had surgery on December 18th 2025 and am now unable to put any weight on my leg for the next three months.

I've always been too prideful to beg or even ask for assistance.

My job is very physical so I won't be able to return to work until late March 2026.

Any amount of assistance you can give will be greatly appreciated. I know times are tough and people don't have a lot to spare but I can't think of any alternative for my situation.
