Hi, my Name is Ashton Puffer, and i started this Fundraising effort on behalf of my friend Tommy Gregory. I have been friends with Tommy for 24 years, and i am here to tell you there is no better person on this planet. Those of you that know Tommy, know that there is nothing that he would not do for his Family, Friends, Work Colleagues, or just a random person in need of help. Tommy is truly dedicated to his Family, his wife Miranda, and daughters Trinity (16) and Tinsley (9), and would give the world for them.

Recently, Tommy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, and what was initially thought to be Appendicitis, turned out to be Appendix Cancer. After surgery to remove the cancer, and a number of tests following the removal, it was discovered that the Cancer was Metastatic, and has spread to his lungs. On Monday September 28th, Tommy went in to have his port for chemotherapy implanted, and then began his first round of Chemotherapy on Wednesday September 30th.

Needless to say, Tommy is not just in the fight of his life, but also a fight for his life. Most of us know what Cancer entails in regards to the treatment, and how that impacts the person receiving that treatment. What some of us may not realize, is how going through treatment for cancer impacts not just that persons health, but also their family, work, and personal finances. We have all heard the horror stories regarding the medical costs associated with receiving medical treatment for Cancer. The cost is not insignificant, and can add a whole other level of stress while battling for your life. We want to avoid this at all cost, and allow Tommy to focus on fighting cancer, instead of worrying about finances.

Tommy is a mechanic by trade, and is the primary breadwinner for his family. Due to the medical expenses associated, and the inevitable time that he will be required to take off of work, we are looking to raise around $30,000 through this crowdfunding effort to help with both the medical expenses, as well as for the potential income loss due to Tommy's extensive time off work while going through this treatment process.
