Help Save Tommy’s Eyes!

My name is Lisa and I adopted a horse that had been abused in his former life. His life changed drastically once with me and has received love and care to the utmost. He has become my soul horse and my beautiful boy is so loved and adored by all who meet him. He has been the face of a rescue that I also have had and is an icon to my community of friends and animal lovers. He is affectionately known as “Tommy Tankbutt because he has a super chunky quarter horse booty! Tommy is currently being treated by UGA and their Opthalmology Team. He has Squamous Cell Carcinoma and has had 2 surgeries already and is in need of a third because after the 2nd surgery he was considered cancer free but it has come back in BOTH eyes and also the area around them. We have been staying on top of it but it’s a nasty battle and his veterinary expenses are mounting VERY quickly. He has to have 3 masks for UV protection during the day, in the late evening/night time as well as for playtime so he stays protected 24/7 and these masks are quite pricey as well. Please help us in our fight against cancer. We are trying to keep it out of his corneas to keep his sight but we can’t without financial help to give the doctor’s the ability to do the treatments they need to help him. He will have the cancer removed/some PDT(photo dynamic therapy) some cryotherapy and freezing as well depending on the locations of each issue (there are multiple places to hit).
