Medical and funeral expenses for Julianna

My name is Jackie Schilt. Tommy and Monica Melvin are my cousins. I am starting this go-fund me to help them with medical costs and bills which have piled up long with the upcoming Holiday season. Tommy and Monica's youngest daughter Julianna was born at just 32 weeks and has been a true fighter for the last 4 years! She was born with Ambiguous Genitalia and after 2 years of invasive and extensive medical testing she was recently diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Rhett Syndrome. This causes Julianna to suffer from multiple seizures a day. She is no longer able to talk, and is no longer taking adequate breaths on her own which has caused her to be placed on a bypap machine. Julianna is no longer able to hold her head up, she has no fine motor skills and has currently been in the hospital for several months. Her life expectancy has dropped and Tommy and Monica are praying for one more Christmas miracle. With all the time spent in the hospital, and Monica working in the medical field, Tommy has had to stop working to be with Julianna in the hospital, and to be home to take care of their other 3 children. Tommy and Monica's oldest daughter has also been in the hospital for a year as well. As you can imagine, with 2 children hospitalized, and only one parent working, they are experiencing financial burden especially during the Holiday season. Recently Julianna's family met with the funeral home to start pre -planning to cover the expenses to give her the proper burial she deserves. I am reaching out to the community to ask for any help to get them through this unimaginable time as they spend the little bit of time they have left with their baby girl.
*** UPDATE*** It is with a very heavy hurting heart that I write about the passing of Tommy and Monica's sweet baby girl Julianna. Now as they are left brokenhearted they have to do one of the most unimaginable things.... bury their baby girl. This is something no parent should ever have to endure.
