Hello I'm Melody Berend Davis and I am fundraising for the Trotter family.

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023 things totally changed for the way of life that Tommy Trotter and his family and friends knew. Tommy had not felt well the few of days prior, but he continued to try to do the normal things he does such as go to work and help my family with rebuilding our house after a fire. That's the type of person Tommy and his family are. Even though he didn't feel well he continued to help others. On that Wednesday morning his wife, Nikki had a hard time waking him and he seemed disoriented. She took him to the emergency department at Baylor Scott and White. It was shortly thereafter we learned that Tommy had a sizable mass in his brain. Later that day we learned that he also had a mass in his left lung. Today the doctors did a biopsy on the mass in his lung and Wednesday he will have surgery to remove what the doctors can of the mass in his brain. The doctors have already said he will loose some his motor skills, vision and may have difficulty with his speech in the future. Tommy works at Time manufacturing as a welder so unfortunately Tommy will not be able to continue to perform his job once he gets through this struggle in his life. This is a fundraiser to help offset medical expenses as well as living expenses for him and his family.
