Hello, my name is Tomas Stoner, and I'm reaching out with an urgent appeal. I've recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 acute melanoma cystic cancer in my face, neck, and skull. As a chef by trade and a proud father of two beautiful girls, this diagnosis has temporarily put me out of work. My daughters are my world, and they, along with my roommate and his two girls, make for a full house with only one income right now.

I've been trying to secure rent assistance without success, and we're currently facing eviction. My portion of the rent for the next four months amounts to $3,200. I'm not used to asking for help; I'm a provider by nature, and this situation has been incredibly difficult. But this cancer is kicking my ass, and to beat it, I need a stable place to live.
