Help Tom & Shelley Wundrock in Their Time of Need

I'm starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents, Tom & Shelley Wundrock.

My father has been battling some health issues for a few years and has had to give up his favorite pastimes: many family events, hunting, and fishing. In a recent turn of events two weeks ago, my father fell very ill and has been hospitalized since. He was given two options: amputate his "good" leg or undergo an extremely high-risk surgery to save it. Dad opted to go through with the high-risk surgery so he could someday get back to enjoying the things he loves most, his family, hunting, and fishing. He made it through the surgery on September 4th; however, he suffered a stroke the next morning. He's currently in ICU with a discharge date being unknown at this time.

My mother is an extremely strong woman and has her own health issues. She's had to put her life and medical issues on hold while being Dad's caregiver for the past two and a half years. She had been staying at Dad's bedside every day and night while in the hospital. Now that he's in the ICU, she's no longer able to spend the nights with him. She's having to travel back and forth as well as continue to eat her meals there, which are out-of-pocket expenses. Mom and Dad are on a very tight fixed income of SS-Disability. These extra expenses for my mom of travel and meals have taken a hit in their financial situation, not to mention the insane amount of medical bills and medicines needed. The medical bills can wait. My father's new uncovered medications that are needed, as well as my mother's travel and food expenses while he's hospitalized, cannot; not to mention the travel to and from appointments and therapies when he's discharged.

My parents have always given the shirts off their backs for others when they had very little or next to nothing to give; always there to help others but will never ask for help themselves.
