Help Tom Shahan Battle Colon Cancer

My name is William, and I'm creating this GoFundMe for a tremendous family that's in need right now: The Shahan family. Tom, Kira, and their wonderful children. This family has done so much for so many, and now they need to turn to us for our help.

Speaking from personal experience, when I was in dire straits, this family helped me when I didn't expect it. As they've done for many others where and when they can. Now they're in a financial situation as it pertains to medical costs.

Going back to January when Tom first started realizing something was wrong, up to this past July when he was diagnosed with colon cancer; this family has been rocked by the unexpected.

Tom has since gotten several inches of intestine cut out, chemotherapy treatments in Chicago where he must go for his medical issues, and was given an ileostomy bag that has forced him to massively cut back on a lot of physical work.

Tom is a hardworking, proud, loving husband, and an amazing father. He is now in financial need with rising medical costs and I know he personally would never ask for help because he wouldn't want to involve anyone else, but as a friend of this family, I'm asking for everyone who reads this to help aid this wonderful family in this time of need.
