This is a fundraiser for my brother, Tom Skulan.

On July 2nd 2025 Tom will have surgery to correct a crippling deterioration of the vertebrae in his neck. For this surgery to be effective a congenital deformity in his thoracic spine will also have to be corrected in a second operation on the same day.

These are major, complex operations that will make it impossible for Tom to attend to his businesses and earn money for at least six weeks. Tom will remain in the hospital where the surgery was performed for 5 to 10 days, then transfer to a rehabilitation hospital for 2-4 weeks. Also, there are only a few hospitals in the region equipped for the surgery, so Tom will have to travel 2 hours south to Westchester county, incurring additional travel expenses.

Tom needs money to cover his living and travel expenses for 6-8 weeks. By contributing you will help Tom concentrate on his recovery, and on getting past the pain that he has been living with for eight years.
