Help Tom rebuild his home in Mexico
Donation protected
As many of you know, our good friend Tom lost a significant portion of the home he was building for his retirement in Lopez Acevez, just outside of Puerto Penasco.
While the damage is still being assessed, it is significant and will take a good deal of resources to rebuild.
Although we are thankful that Tom was not seriously injured (he was on a ladder, working on his home when the walls started to collapse in the high winds), we are devastated by his loss and wanted to help him in any way we could.
In speaking with Jan, his sister, who took Tom to the clinic in Penasco after the accident (he has a cracked rib, twisted knee and multiple bumps, bruises and scrapes), she and her husband, Jim also wanted to set something up so others had a pathway to help Tom too, and, after discussing it with Tom, Jan gave us the green light to establish this GoFundMe account on Tom’s behalf.
All funds raised will go directly to Tom to aid in the rebuilding effort!
Prayers, good thoughts and tequila are also welcome, and thank you in advance for your kindness and your generosity!
