On January 23, our father, Tom Gustin, was in a semi pile-up on I-65 in Indiana. He is extremely lucky to be alive, but he has a long road to recovery.

He has a large laceration with 20 staples (since removed) in his head, a small brain bleed that resolved itself, trouble swallowing so a feeding tube has been put in, 8 fractures from his C3 to T2, currently in a C-spine neck brace, a dislocated knee, a fracture in his tibia, badly bruised ribs, a badly bruised hand, and many bumps and bruises.

We are currently in an Indiana hospital trying to get him transferred back closer to home (WI). Proceeds will go directly towards assistance with costs related to expenses incurred during time off, lodging, travel expenses, food, everyday expenses for Tom, and support for his family as they navigate this challenging time.
