Tom is one of my favorite coworkers; he's been there for me ever since I started. Now Tom needs our help. About a month ago, Tom suffered fractures to two of his vertebrae and has since been out of work. His injury has made simple things, like laundry, excruciatingly painful. His surgeons said that he will need at least another couple of months to heal completely and be able to do normal tasks again. Therefore, he will be out of work for quite some time.
     The financial strain of medical bills and being out of work for several weeks are causing him to struggle paying for basic necessities- like groceries. Any tiny bit you can give will go directly to help Tom get through his recovery. Our support is necessary for Tom to heal in a timely manner, because stress and poor nutrition can prolong the healing process.
