Help Tom get to his medical appointments.

Hello my name is Tom. I'm fundraising because I'm on disability and can not afford to purchase a car. I only have myself to depend on to get to medical appointments, shopping and obtaining the medications to manage my condition.
I have bought several clunkers over the past year. I have maxed out my credit cards to try and keep a running automobile. In fact, I'm have so much debt, that I can not even make the minimum payments on those credit accounts.
The last vehicle needed a new transmission, so I committed to a $3000 line of credit. The repair shop did not even give me a proper rebuild and refused to fix their bad work. I have been diagnosed and being treated for Chronic Heart Failure (CHF).
I have a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted on the left side of my chest which has gone off several times (shocked me.) I have Doctor appointments and follow ups thru out the month.

I live in a senior citizen community which is located about 35 mins (20 miles) from town. I can not get to a bus stop close to me, (much less wait at one) without having some type of physical issues, especially with the summer months here in Las Vegas.
I'm not looking for a newer car, as I couldn't afford the insurance. Just a dependable vehicle with A/C. I do not care what it looks like. I have started my goal at $3500 because that seems to be the average price for such. However that goal may increase or decrease depending on what is available when I have some money to purchase a vehicle.
You can donate publicly or anonymously. I'm willing to do some legitimate remote work to pay anyone back for the money they donate to my cause. If I do not make my goal, I will be returning all the donations. Thanks.
