My name is Tom, and I’m currently stranded in Tomah, WI after a series of events that turned my life upside down. After a house fire I’ve been living in my vehicle with a blown engine, leaving me without transportation and unable to get to work. Im not a person who likes asking for help im at the end of my rope losing my home, job and my car at the same time left me with nowhere to turn. i have no family in a position to help i have no friends and as adult with no children, I’ve found it nearly impossible to access any benefits or support, and I’ve been trying every day to get out of this situation on my own. If you know me at all you know how bad it must be that im doing this and posting it. Right now, my most urgent needs are basic simple: food, a safe place to sleep, a hot shower, clean clothes, and a way to get around so I can look for work again. I’m not asking for much—just enough to help me get back on my feet and be presentable for job interviews. I’m determined to work and rebuild my life, but I need a little help to get through this moment in time. Any support will go directly toward basic necessities and helping me regain stability.
