Hello,

I never thought I'd hear the word, 'cancer', for a diagnosis. Of course, growing old is not for sissies, but this hit me right where it hurts. I've spoken to and challenged my urologist and surgeon about the procedures, outcomes, side effects and recovery process. They are optimistic and specific. Robotic surgery will be the treatment with minimally invasive methods. Functions are largely intact and side effects minimize or disappear over weeks and months.

I'm self-employed and live alone. I have a loyal support group, but copayments, travel, medication and other charges add up quickly.

While Prostate Cancer survivors like Robert Deniro, Ben Shapiro and Dr. Drew Pinsky all took time off from their careers, I don't have that luxury. I've never, ever, thought I'd be asking for help, but I am.
