Help Tom and Sue Wade rebuild their home of 30yrs
Donation protected
My name is Brandy; I'm the daughter of Tom and Sue Wade. My parents lived in their home in Louisville Colorado for more than 30 years. As many of you know, the Marshall Fire raged on Dec 30 2021 and forever changed the lives of my parents. Everything was lost as their home burned to the ground.
Not just the furniture, vehicle(s), kitchenware and clothing, but all the family memories as well. We are mourning the loss of irreplaceable family memorabilia such as childhood paintings/crafts, hand-painted Christmas ornaments and more than 20 photo albums full of family photos. I swear, in every nook n cranny of that house, was a framed picture or treasure they had collected from their travels or something handmade from us kids or their grandkids.
Despite the mourning of the home they built from scratch more than 30 years ago, the Wade's now need to work on replacing the items needed for essential daily life. (Beds, kitchen items, clothes, shoes, bathroom items, furniture, computers etc)
They face a long and difficult road to becoming whole again but they are determined and hardworking. My father, Tom, is a US Air Force Veteran and my mom is one of the hardest working people I know. It's awesome to say they have been married 46 years!
As hard as is (because my parents aren't big on asking for help and have never gotten handouts their entire lives) if you can please donate whatever you can to help them begin to rebuild all the pieces, it would mean a lot. While our hearts ache and the grief comes in waves, we feel comforted by so many people expressing their care and concern. ❤️
