Help Tom and Carolyn (Susie) Jones
Donation protected
I am raising funds to support Tom and Carolyn (Susie) Jones as Tom battles a complicated Leukemia. In early December, Tom went to urgent care near their home in northern NY because he was short of breath. It was then that they found out he likely had Leukemia and was very anemic, depriving his blood of oxygen. Unfortunately, the diagnosis was confirmed and due to the aggressive nature of this particular Leukemia, he was rushed to Burlington for emergency treatment. He has been at UVM medical center, many miles from home, since The beginning of December. My grandmother, Carolyn (Susie) has been staying nearby so she can see him everyday and get updates from the doctors. Complications have developed with his treatment and they are told it will be a long road. They are prepared to spend months in Burlington while he receives intensive treatment.
They are both retired and on limited income, causing additional stress. They have been heavily involved in the Methodist Church (he is a retired minister) for decades, and have given so much to their community.
Please consider making a gift to support them with expenses during this challenging time.
100% of the money raised will support them directly.
