Help Tom and Ann Kennedy in Their Time of Need

Retired deputy Tom Kennedy and Jail Administrative Coordinator Ann Kennedy need our help.

Three weeks ago during a vacation to the Outer Banks, Tom felt ill and was transported to the hospital in Greenville, North Carolina with heart issues. After many tests, it was determined he also has lung cancer and lesions on his brain. He began radiation on his brain and recently started chemotherapy for his lung cancer. He has had many setbacks, such as fluid around his heart, fluid in his lungs, and blood clots, which has made him unable to travel home. Ann has continued to stay down there in a nearby hotel for over 3 weeks now. Their children and families have just gone down to provide support for Tom and Ann as his hospital stay has lasted longer than anticipated. At this time, it is unknown as to when he will be able to travel home.

Once he is stable enough to travel, he will need to take a mercy flight to Buffalo for continued treatment.
