In March of 2026, my father Todd was a victim in a catastrophic vehicle accident at the fault of a speeding drunk driver that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Due to the brutal spinal cord injury he was left with, Todd has received extensive surgery to support his spine and is still hospitalized today. He is supported emotionally by his family and his daughters, but he has a long road of recovery ahead and needs all the support he can get.
In his current condition, he is still paralyzed with no voluntary movement for anything at and below the injury site.
Todd is a father of two daughters who lost his wife to colon cancer in 2014. He is a hardworking man that wants to provide and spend time with the family he has made for himself, which is greatly limited with his injuries.
Todd has a long road of recovery in his future, and his life has changed forever. He has been very strong throughout the procedures and optimistic about the situation, but he will need extensive medical attention, physical and occupational therapy, body rehabilitation, and many modifications to support his new life adjustments.
The funds raised from this campaign will go towards:
- Medical Expenses following the accident
- Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy
- Home and vehicle modifications
- In-home care following hospital discharge
- Medical assistive equipment
Every penny will go towards making my dad's life less restrictive as a wheelchair-bound individual or covering medical costs. We appreciate anything you can spare. If you are not in a position to donate, we ask that you share this campaign with others to spread awareness on this tragedy. Either option means the world to this grieving family.
