Help Todd Fight Bladder Cancer
After years of battling recurring bladder infections and countless hospital visits beginning in 2021, Todd received devastating news in November 2024: he was diagnosed with bladder cancer — a life-changing diagnosis no one is ever truly prepared for.
Since then, Todd has faced this battle with incredible strength, courage, and hope. But the road ahead is long and filled with physical, emotional, and financial challenges.
In April, he completed six weeks of BCG treatments in hopes of stopping the cancer. Sadly, the treatments were unsuccessful, and the cancer continued to spread aggressively. Since then, Todd has endured recurring infections, additional hospital stays, and more invasive testing.
On September 18th, Todd will undergo a major 8+ hour surgery to remove his bladder — the only remaining option. Doctors hope to create a neobladder from part of his small intestine, which could help him avoid a permanent external urostomy bag. However, there are no guarantees that this procedure will work, or that his body will accept it.
At the same time, doctors will also address complications with his kidney caused by the cancer. Todd is expected to remain in the hospital for 1–2 weeks, followed by a long, difficult recovery at home.
Even with insurance, medical bills, medication costs, and lost wages are piling up. That’s why we’re asking for your help.
