Help Todd Fight for His Life: Kidney Disease, Heart Failure & More

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out today on behalf of Todd Collins (TC) to some, who is facing an overwhelming and life-threatening health battle. He has been diagnosed with multiple chronic and acute conditions, including:

Type 2 Diabetes

Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease

Hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol)

Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Acute Heart Failure

Unexplained Blood Loss & Severely Low Hemoglobin

Doctors are still working to determine the underlying cause of his dangerously low red blood cell levels. In the meantime, his health has continued to decline.

Todd is now on nightly dialysis while he sleeps—his body depends on this treatment to survive. He attends multiple doctor’s appointments each week and has been rushed to the ER multiple times in recent months for fluid in his lungs, shortness of breath, and other life-threatening complications.

He is in the process of being put on the kidney transplant list, but even with approval, it could take years before a donor becomes available. Until then, every day is a struggle just to keep his body functioning.

This journey is far from over. Todd can no longer work due to his condition, and the financial burden is mounting—from transportation to medical appointments, to medications, hospital visits, co-pays, and basic living expenses.
