Just one week before Christmas, Todd and Sharlene Davis lost everything in a devastating house fire. In a moment, the home they built their lives in — and the place where so many memories were made — was gone.

Todd and Sharlene have been proud Mooresville residents for over 50 years. Todd, a dedicated brick mason, spent five years building their home brick by brick with his own hands. It’s the home where they raised their two children, welcomed countless friends, and opened their doors to anyone who ever needed a place to land. Todd’s 91-year-old mother also lives with them, making this loss even more overwhelming.

Anyone who knows Todd and Sharlene knows they are the first to show up when someone needs help — whether it’s lending a hand, offering a meal, or opening their home without hesitation. Their house was always full of love, laughter, and generosity.

Now, they are the ones who need support.
