Help Todd (Rule of Claw) Beat Cancer, Rebuild Life
Spende geschützt
Hi it's Todd. As my friends know, I have fought kidney cancer and long Covid. More cysts have been found on my liver. hopefully age-related. These may not be recurrences, however, deductibles are adding up. Post Covid, my breathing has been affected and my ability to earn is limited. Right now am falling behind. I have always made it a point to help others but now it is time for me to humbly ask.
I need ultrasounds, a CT with contrast, more MRI's and possibly a procedure to fix a torn rotator cuff. But the main thing I need help with at this point is to catch up and pay bills. The pandemic decimated my business. I don't really have the energy at the moment to bring it back to where it was.
I also support my disabled mother and autistic brother, both unable to work and my Mom flat out can barely walk.
And if my health permits, I would like to see the pacific beaches again, too. Call it a bucket list thing.
On a daily basis, after a few hours awake, I get exhausted, in fact, I sleep every few hours because I can't stay awake. I am not sure if cancer combined with Covid is at fault, if losing part of my kidney is doing it, or a combination of factors. But Covid almost surely plays a role.
The thing is that Covid long hauling is real, and it is scary. These folks are not lazy, they are not burdens. They are previously highly productive citizens ravaged by a viral monster. We don't know if it is permanent, and we don't know if it cuts life expectancy. But we do know there needs to be heightened awareness of this issue.
As for now I feel like I am an inept swimmer in a rising tide. I don't know honestly what else to do. I really appreciate your support.
