Help Todd Regain Strength After Hospital Stays

My dad, Todd Pittinger Sr., has been in and out of the hospital 5 times since April 18th.

He is finally home and feeling much better. He went to the emergency room on the 18th with heart attack symptoms. The doctor said that he had no damage to his heart from it but did have some blockages in his arteries. One of them was 90%, so it required a stent, which they put in during his heart cath on the 20th of April. He came home on the 21st with about 10 new meds but was feeling better, just a little tired. On the 22nd, he went to his primary care physician, and she gave him two more meds. One of them did not agree with what was already happening in his body, so he couldn’t keep any of his medication down. He was told to go back to the ER. He went back on the 24th and was taken off several meds. He was finally feeling better by the 30th and was released again. He was home for a couple of days and started the same symptoms all over again. He could not keep any meds down. He went back to the ER again on the 1st of May because he was told that the meds for the stent were very important not to miss, and he was just vomiting all his meds up. His blood pressure at the lowest point was like 78/48. His heart rate was in the mid to high 30s. They got his blood pressure under control. He stopped vomiting and started eating regular food. He was feeling fine again and went home on the 5th of May. After he got home, he felt OK for about a day, and then came the real sickness. That is when he made his fourth trip to the ER on the 7th of May. It took them about a day to find out that he had come in contact with something and got an infection in his gut (c-diff) on his third trip to the hospital. They started antibiotics by mouth and by IV, and a couple of days later, they released him. He took one more trip to the hospital as the c-diff returned. Praise the Lord, he is doing much better now!

My dad has owned a lawn business that I have done for over 25 years. His strength isn't to the point where he can maintain it or get his accounts done. Obviously, he's got medical bills for what insurance isn't covering as well. Anything you feel kind enough to give will help support him while he regains his strength after nearly 2 months in and out of the hospital + the extensive medical bills they have from what insurance will not cover.
