My brother Todd has faced an incredibly tough year. Last October, he became a victim of identity theft, which turned his finances upside down and made it difficult for him to keep up with everyday expenses. Just as my sister Teri and I were finally getting him back on track, Todd suffered a stroke. While we are hopeful that his medical bills will be covered, there are still many uncertainties and potential expenses ahead.


In order for Todd to return home safely and continue his recovery, there are several urgent repairs and improvements needed. His house has plumbing issues and there are soft spots in the flooring that need to be repaired in the living room and bedroom. Additionally, Todd will need special equipment to help him regain his independence, such as a handrail and possibly a transfer chair for his bathtub. These changes are essential to make his home a safe and supportive environment as he works toward recovery.
