I'm currently going through a divorce after 32 years of marriage. Shortly after separating, I lost my job due to medical reasons and had part of my foot amputated. The recovery process was difficult, and it made it impossible for me to continue working at my previous job. I was fortunate to find a new job, but it pays much less, and I've been struggling to keep up with my bills ever since.

To make matters worse, my car was recently totaled in an accident. With attorney fees piling up from the divorce and my reduced income, I'm having a hard time affording a new vehicle. Reliable transportation is essential for me to get to and from work, and without it, I'm worried about how I'll be able to support myself and move forward.

I hate asking for help, but recent events have made me realize I can't do this on my own. I'm slowly sinking deeper and just need some help to get afloat. I am deeply grateful and humbled by anyone who would help another human being out when they are truly in need. I just never thought in a million years I would be the one asking for help.
