My name is JJ Johnson, and I’m Todd’s sister. Todd was violently assaulted and robbed on August 16, 2025, by six teenagers. Todd was in the ICU until this Monday, and is now in rehab, and will be for weeks, if not months, due to his severe traumatic brain injury from the violent assault.

He has aphasia, which is a speech disorder where he says the wrong word, such as square instead of cherries. We do not know yet if his aphasia will be permanent. We do not even know yet if Todd will be able to live and work independently.

Our parents are elderly, and we are (hopefully temporarily) taking guardianship of Todd. The funds donated will go to Todd’s bills, especially medical bills. Our goal is to raise at least $20,000 to cover his upcoming bills. Thank you for your support!
