The Briggs family has been given some hard hitting news and I believe this platform would help alleviate one the many stresses that come along with unexpected medical emergencies.

In case you don’t know me, my name is Brooke and I met this family 13 years ago when I started dating their son Tyler. He and I have been together since we were 14 and through the years this family has become my family. Tyler and I are now engaged and have recently welcomed our first child in March 2023. Needless to say, this family means the world to me and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without them!

On April 15th, my fiancés dad was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor known as Glioblastoma Mutiforme. Unfortunately, this type of cancer does not have a cure yet. Fortunetly, with the help of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation cancerous cells can be slowed down. Todd had brain surgery on April 25th to remove majority of the brain tumor. Now that he has recovered from surgery, we move to the next step which involves weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. This is a hard fight but not a fight that Todd can’t handle with the help of his family & faith. He has a 30 year loving marriage with his wife Maggie, raised five beautiful children (one of which I am marrying) is the best Papa to his three crazy grandchildren and is a strong believer in God.
