Todd Allen has the biggest heart of anyone you've ever met. He makes friends with everyone he meets, giving of his time and talents to friends and strangers alike. Now, Todd needs our help and he's not one to ask for it.
As you may know, after surviving cancer as a child, Todd was left with lifelong hip and bone damage. He has faced multiple life-threatening issues as a result. In December 2017, he faced yet another fight for his life. His hip implant developed a life-threatening infection. His doctors decided to remove his hip replacement which would protect him from further infections and complications, but resigning Todd to life in a wheelchair. While taking care of his health, he lost his job and his career path was derailed.
In the last few months, Todd has been able to regain some of his independence, using crutches for very limited distances. It’s difficult for Todd to go a lot of places without his wheelchair because he never knows how far he will have to walk. This includes interviews or other job search activities. The biggest challenge is that he can’t put his wheelchair in his trunk and then get around to drive his car. For this reason, he needs a specially equipped van with a ramp so he can easily drive his wheelchair into it. He has tried to get a loan, but unemployment is getting in the way.

Please give what you can to our big-hearted friend. An accessible van will be much more than transportation for Todd - it will be a return to mobility, self-sufficiency and independence. Thank you!
