Help Toby Recover from Urinary Blockage

Many of you know of my cat Toby. He is super cuddly and sweet, very vocal, and quite the character.

I just had a major scare with him this evening (Wednesday May 28th) where I was about to leave for 3-4 days to go work, where this could have been fatal and come back to him gone :(

LUCKILY i was home still and caught this early. He was fine all morning and then suddenly was trying to go to the bathroom not in the litterbox, and tried going to the litterbox and doing something again and again for 30 minutes or so while I was trying to figure out what was wrong and calling who I needed to.

He was brought to the vet immediately and found to have a urinary blockage, that was caught very early on, and could have been fatal if left alone for days. Urinary blockages are very serious. I am really lucky to have still been home...

They have cleared it but are continuing to monitor and flush things out for 24+ hours, and I will not be picking him up until Friday morning.

This surprise vet visit is going to cost about $1000 and he will have to be put on a new diet of prescription food for urinary health that is much more expensive than regular cat food, so whatever I end up making from this will go towards his vet bill as well as the first supplies of food for him.

I appreciate any donations people are willing to give. I work seasonally and am missing much needed limited work this weekend because of this (that would have helped pay for this...but I need to monitor him and make sure he's recovering okay)

I love Toby so much and want to keep him healthy for all of his life, and this would be a really helpful hand in helping prevent another blockage, which could also lead to a really expensive surgery if he continues having blockages (which I really hope to avoid at all costs!!)
