In Loving Memory of Toby – Support With Vet Expenses

Hi, my name is Laura, and I’m raising funds in memory of my sweet pup, Toby.

Toby was diagnosed with protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) last November, and since then it had been a constant struggle to manage his condition. Most of the time, he was the happiest, silliest dog with endless tail wags, but recently everything changed. Toby became very sick with vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite, and after many vet visits, we learned he had a large mass blocking his intestine. He needed emergency surgery to remove it and repair his intestines, and he fought bravely through hospitalization and treatment.

With the heaviest heart, I have to share that Toby passed away despite all of his strength and the incredible efforts of his medical team. He was more than a pet—he was family, my best friend, and a source of joy and unconditional love. Even in his final days, he showed resilience and love, reminding us of the beautiful soul he was.

Unfortunately, the cost of his care has been overwhelming. Toby’s bills have already reached over $14,000. Insurance will help a little but most of this falls on my husband and I. We're still working to cover the surgery, hospitalization, and specialist care that gave him a chance to fight.
